About Pro Street Customs
Pro Street Customs is the result of a lifetime of exposure in and around custom cars and the performance automotive industry. Bob Alford has been involved in drag racing, custom paint and body work, custom auto fabrication and the auto restoration industry for nearly four decades. For years Bob Alford traveled the drag racing circuit with his highly successful Team Jesus Motorsports racing team which included his wife Nancy as the driver of their alcohol dragster. Building custom cars and custom motorcycles has brought the Pro Street Customs organization a variety of awards at various car and motorcycle shows. Best Paint, Best of Show, People's Choice, Best Engineered and many other awards are commonplace for the unique vehicles that roll out of the Pro Street Customs shop in Orlando, Florida.
The focus on project vehicles at Pro Street Customs is to give the clients a vehicle that is cutting edge and set apart from the everyday cars and trucks that you see in the shows. From the flawless paint and effects finishes on down to the tires you will find an details that escape other car builders.
Classic cars have been restored to better than factory new condition with the painstaking work that Pro Street Customs takes regarding the completed paint job. It might be factory colors but it isn't factory finish! Pro Street Customs has won many Best of Paint awards at local and regional car shows.
Street rods, pro street and all out racers are yet another area of expertise at Pro Street Customs. It helps that both Bob and his wife Nancy were avid drag racers in California and here in Florida. Nancy was recognized as Rookie Of The Year for her work in driving the Team Jesus dragster to victory after victory.
Recently a CNC machine and supporting equipment was installed in the Pro Street Customs facility so that one off parts could be manufactured without paying a middle man to do so thus saving money on completed projects. Giving Back
Bob and the Pro Street Customs organization are big believers in "giving back" to the community and performance automotive industry. They give back by sponsoring benefit car shows for organizations like The Russell Home for Atypical Children. When they aren't sponsoring car shows they are showing some of the vehicles they have engineered. Bob and his family also "give back" through their personal lives through their involvement with their home church of Calvary Assembly located in Winter Park, Florida. <<Read more>>
